Full House Cleaning

Thank you again for booking your Exterior Full house cleaning. Hopefully, this will give you a little bit more detail about the service that you have booked and what it includes. All we ask from you is to make sure we have access to a faucet on the property and anything that can be moved away from the area to be cleaned is done so.
Since each property is different this most commonly refers to the siding (Vinyl or Aluminum) as well as the soffits and fascia and exterior eavestroughs of the house. These are all separate services but are very frequent booked together

The interior of the eavestroughs or gutters is a different service and not included in the “Full House Cleaning” and can be added for an additional charge and more information can be found here. The same is applicable for our Window Cleaning service and more information can be found here about our window cleaning services.

One of the most common things we get asked after booking a job is “what do I need to do before you show up”?

What we ask of you before we arrive:

  • Please make sure your exterior water faucet is on and in working order and not leaking

  • Please remove anything being stored along the side of the house blocking off areas to be worked on

  • Please cut back any shrubbery or vines touching the house that would limit access to the area to be cleaned

  • Please unplug any electrical in the area being cleaned

  • Please move patio furniture away from the house and any covers on grills or Barbeques be put on.

If you need assistance in any of these points, please feel to ask us to give you a hand moving items when we arrive

Siding Cleaning

To clean the siding we use a pressure washer to distribute the eco-cleaner on the siding first then scrub down the siding with an extension brush. The coarseness of the brush, as well as the strength of scrubbing, is determined by both the dirtiness and the material being cleaned( Vinyl or Aluminum).  We then use the pressure washer again to pressure clean the siding and then rinse it off. Rinsing and repeating for all the vinyl and aluminum. This does take longer than just pressure cleaning surfaces off since the detergent used should not dry on the surface but does allow for a deeper and longer-lasting clean.

Exterior Eavestroughs, Fascia and Soffit Cleaning

When we discuss Exterior Eavestrough or Gutter cleaning as stated above this does not include the "cleaning out" of the eavestroughs since that service is done with different equipment please feel free to ask for an additional price for that service.

Cleaning the exterior of the eavestroughs and surrounding area (Fascia and Soffits, see diagram)

The process for cleaning is very similar to our siding cleaning strategy of three-stage cleaning shown below:

1. Use Eco Detergent to loosen dirt and grease applied with a pressure washer extension pole

2. Use an extension brush to scrub down the eavestroughs as we as the fascia and soffits.

3. Use a pressure washer to clean and rinse the eavestroughs and fascia while taking care to not use too much water along the soffits.

Stucco Cleaning

Stucco is incredibly difficult to clean without damaging the "finish coat" (final texture coat) and usually does not need to be cleaned but obvious humid areas cause moss growth and sometimes it needs to be cleaned more than just being rinsed down. While cleaning stucco we use very low pressure on our pressure washer when both applying soap and doing our final clean rinse. A soft bristle brush to scrub the stucco allows us to get the dirt out of the stucco texture and leave your stucco nice and clean! We will not clean damaged stucco. Please advise us if your stucco is damaged prior to our arrival.

Brick and Stone Wall Cleaning

Brick Cleaning

Brick and Stone Cleaning is common to Stucco in not needing to be done regularly unless the area is very humid.

When it comes to cleaning brick and stone surfaces we use a detergent on the brick to help loosen up the dirt and are then pressure washed clean. In certain situations with vines or other stubborn alien elements we also use a heavy coarse brush to scrub down the brick after using a detergent. We do not clean red clay colouration on brick or stone and or damaged brick or stone walls.
